On Saturday, the Northampton Town Youth Team first year scholars visited the Northampton Park Run event at the Racecourse to offer their support and to volunteer as part of their Community Engagement that forms part of their scholarship programme with the club.
The boys helped with time keeping, funnelling the runners at the finish, handing out tokens and scanning the bar codes of those taking part so times could be logged on the Park Run app. They also provided encouragement to those taking part and chatted to people involved with the event!
The Park Run takes place every Saturday morning at the Racecourse in Northampton (off Kettering Road) and is completely free to take part in or volunteer at.
