Three Northampton Town loanees played for their temporary clubs on Saturday afternoon.
Midfielder Peter Abimbola was a second-half substitute as Bromsgrove Sporting lost 1-0 at home to Barwell on the final day of the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central season.
Meanwhile, midfielders Jacob Scott and Reuben Wyatt were both involved as AFC Rushden and Diamonds ended the Northern Premier League Midlands campaign with a 2-0 win away to Walsall Wood.
The Diamonds’ victory was not enough to prevent their second consecutive relegation. Rugby Town’s 3-0 success away to Boldmere St. Michaels meant that former Cobblers defender Michael Harriman’s side went down on goal difference.
